When I’m asked about Reiki I often say that it helps to peel away the layers that have been keeping us stuck. It allows us to feel more clearly what we really want and need

Reiki energy is a Universal energy, which is also known by many other names such as Chi, or Qi, or Prana. The use of this energy force for healing has many names and methods, all tapping into something greater than what we can see with our eyes, or understand logically with our brains.
Your Reiki practitioner acts as a channel for this energy, focusing on various positions on your head and body, or your energy field if performing a distant session. This helps to move energy through your physical, energetic and spiritual bodies and Chakra system, cleansing, charging, releasing; resulting in more free-flowing energy.
In a Reiki session I use a combination of tools to support my clients with whatever you need at the time. This may include rituals or practices you can also use outside of your sessions, crystal and sound healing, guided meditation, as well as any information or insights that I receive during your session.
When your energy flows easily, so can everything else in your life.
How can Reiki support you?
One of the best descriptions I have read about Reiki is that it gently lifts away anything that no longer serves us. I would add that it helps us to more easily process and move through situations and events in our lives, that it keeps our energy free-flowing, and also guides us to re-connect with our true self to gain clarity.
Before I started my Reiki training I was depressed, numb, and totally disconnected. I didn’t know what it was that really lit me up, made me feel excited, fired up my inspiration. I didn’t know my true self. Reiki has helped me to re-connect and to peel away the old layers that no longer supported me.
My clients tell me that it helps them to feel lighter and more hopeful, to make decisions that have felt difficult, to let go of feelings and situations that were making them unhappy.
Letting go of blocks, old beliefs, and allowing more space to open up, leaves room for fresh ideas and inspiration to flow in.
A Reiki session can help if you are feeling:
